By Football Italian staff Writer Victor Martinez has lost the weight by working out twice a week, working out three times a week and eating more vegetables.

The 32-year-old, who has been the favourite to win Milan’s top job for some time, lost just 0.9kgs during the first five months of the new year and has now hit the target.

He’s currently riding a 3:10:00 time cut and has also increased his work-out volume to 3:40 and 3:45.

After a successful first year in charge of the Rossoneri, Martinez has been given the job of looking after the team’s finances and making sure that the club is profitable.

It’s not the first time that he’s done this.

In 2013, he had to fend off pressure from the owner, Massimo Moratti, who wanted him to take the job for his own sake.

This year, he’ll be able to rest assured that he has a team in the right hands.
